Sophie works closely with our team across projects, events and communications. She joins us from a career in media production, where she specialises in environment communication.
Sophie worked with Ocean conservation CIC eXXpedition, before completing an MSc in Sustainable Development at SOAS Center for Development, Environment & Policy; focusing her research on mitigating the impact of vessel traffic on Arctic marine life.
Prior to this, she worked on photographic and film projects worldwide. Sophie’s photography has been published by National Geographic, The Times, The Guardian, Oceanographic and shortlisted by the Royal Academy. In 2020 her team was awarded the RGS-Land Rover expedition bursary.
